The daily rat race is exhausting, and sometimes hard-working men and women find themselves in a need of a little break. Other times they deliberately or accidentally get into sticky situations so they end up losing their job or giving up. We feel for them, we are humans and we all make mistakes, that is until robots will replace us all. Before that day comes let’s kick back and relax with a few epics fails from contractors, engineers, and sales rep. These people are out of the race and will not be chosen for “employee of the month” anytime soon.
Gardening Is Not For Everyone
When you look at this failed job you can’t help it wonder gardening is not for everyone. You have to love plants, green and…people. From the looks of it, this gardener got it completely wrong, the bench is for relaxing your feet after walking around the town. How can you do that when you have cactus on your back?
Yes, it’s a thornless cactus, but it’s still the least comfortable option and uninviting planets. Hope the gardener gets it right next time or star designing the landscaping of an underground fight club.
The Design Award Goes To…
This architecture disaster waits for no one, it should be removed as soon as possible to make sure no one will get hurt or injured. What was the planning method for this kids’ playground? There are only two valid options here, the designers and architects were inhaling or the contractors on site left the blueprint at home. Either way, we hope this will be removed soon it’s too painful to watch.
The delivery here was doing his job, and maybe a little too well, because he wants his customers to be satisfied and get packages delivered even if they’re not at home. But climbing up to reach the ceiling for a hidden box that’s too much, we’re not James Bond. So please, next time, we know your heart is in the right place, just leave the box next to the front door, it will be fine.
Wining and dining after a long day of work sound like a good idea, and this grocery store gets it right, at least half of it right. Nothing says fine dining with a little glass of wine like “ready meals” from your local supermarket. It could be a new marketing trick, and we wonder if sales increase and the numbers are showing revenue is up for ready meals and cheap wine.
If you’re a scatter you would love this ramp, designed to give you an adrenaline rush. This is one contraction design gone completely wrong and off the rails. It was intended for disabled to get up and down. But instead, we get a teenagers amusement park. Real stairways to hell, this one has “employee of the month” writing all over it.
When You’ve Got To Go
This one is a bit tricky, and a gender nightmare, it doesn’t matter if you’re a feminist or a gentleman, everyone will find themselves confused and baffled when you look at these two restrooms. How hard can it be to install the right sign next to the right door and onto the right door? Guess very difficult, judging from this photo.
Off The Rails
Planning a train track is not as simple as it sounds, it takes years of higher education. These engineers probably finish at the top of their class so can’t imagine what went wrong. Maybe someone lost the blueprint or someone did know how to read the blueprint? Whatever it is, this needs to be fixed, and start planning the next career move.
The Best Billboard Campaign
This is another example for someone who has given up completely. Would like to pick the brain of whoever glued this poster in such a fine manner that completely undermined the marketing campaign, and the modeling career of this pretty model. This should be a warning to all major brands: god is in the details, and the weakest link can mess it all up in a second.
The Joys Of Reading
There’s nothing like roaming the shelves of your local bookstore and check out the classics and the new bestseller. But this store has a new marketing technique we’re not sure is gonna’ work. They took too far the phrase “Don’t judge a book by its cover”, but hey, that’s what we do in the bookstore. So this is a stroke of genius or someone is about to lose his job.
Back To School
Shopping for the first day of school can be super exciting, you get your pens, pencils, notebooks, and backpacks, everything fresh, shiny, and new. But knives? What school requires that as part of the back to school gear? Maybe it’s a new school to train and guide for a post-apocalyptic world or for the next hunger games. Either way, you should cross this off your back to school shopping list. Pretty sure the employee stocking this will be challenging the norms someplace else.
This contractor always gets the water pipes confused mixed with the electricity cables, an honest and easy mistake to make. But something it’s deadly wrong, literally, this a disaster waiting to happen. Safety should come first, and not last, and water and electricity don’t blend well together. Now, he will have much “me time” on his hands to contemplate on what went wrong.
Where Is Fireman Sam?
We need fireman Sam ASAP to come by and explain to nice people of Denny’s that a fire button should be within reach for the general public. It could be a prank, but a really lousy one and pretty sure someone will be losing his job soon.
Who knew placing a stop button in the right place, and the right angle is so complicated?
It looks like someone was trying to think “out of the box” or completely given up on their job. We’re dying to push the button and see if it actually works. If it’s just an upside-down installation than it’s not so bad, and passengers can still get off wherever they need.
Is In It Ironic?
If you look in the dictionary under “Irony” you will find this picture, in all its glory. Guess this is another “employee of the month” runner up. It’s a case of someone who really given up on a job well done, and should have been fired like yesterday.
This museum guard truly loves her job, she really does. But something went wrong, and the new exhibition made her doze off. Not her fault all that color, and paintbrushes puts her in a snooze and relaxed mode. She is taking her power nap, and once she’s up she will ask to transfer to the sculpture garden, can’t fall asleep in the open doors, in theory.
And then this happened, the poor driver is gonna lose it when he gets back and sees this. It took him forever to find a parking spot, and now he has fresh paint all over his car. Too bad we don’t have a picture of his face when he notices this, wonder if he will smile or break in tears. Do you know who for sure will break in tears? The employee who is about to lose his job and look for his next painting gig.
Cereals For Breakfast, Lunch, And Dinner
They are so many cereals options out there, some healthy, other full of sugar, and coded with honey, to each his own poison. But breakfast is the most important meal of the day! And how can you be expected to find your favorite brand in this supermarket aisle? It’s like an escape room riddle you have to figure out or just an employee on his very last day.
Spelling Is Fun!
Playing spelling games can actually help you get better and improve your vocabulary, we still play it from time to time. But we really feel for these group of cheerful cheerleaders, because they’re gonna’ hear about it for the rest of their high-school glory days, not to mention the yearbook massages that will live forever. All we can tell them is high school will be over soon, and this too shall pass.
Avant-garde Urban Art
This could actually work in an Avant-garde art world, it could have a kick and a punch, and hipster might feel connected to this awkward way of presentation. This urban exhibition got a new twist by the lazy contractor, and it really can work. But can’t wait to see the artist’s face when he or she sees it. This will be a picture worth framing!
This dish could win the worst Mac and Cheese computation, it just doesn’t say Instagram food or even simply “eat me”. It’s a lazy version of Mac and Cheese in the worst possible way, but looking on it from another perspective this could encourage people to skip their Mac and Cheese and pick healthier options.
Sleep It Off
Some cultures consider a power nap a normal daily routine, they lay mattress or place sleeping cabinets for employees to doze off. We don’t live in such a culture, and our work standards are quite different. What will happen if her boss catches her napping with eyes wide shut on the company’s time? Not sure it will end well for this sleeping princess, but she can always say crunching the numbers got her to doze off. We’ve all been there.
Who Ordered Pizza?
Parking at the right spot, and in the right manner can be challenging for new drivers. She nailed the delivery part, but the parking? Not so much. Hope she gets to keep her job, we’re sure she will do better next time, practice brings perfection.
Stupid Is As Stupid Does
This fellow thought he has everything under control, he takes his safety goggles, and he is ready for action. But when sparks fly around oxygen tanks we have a problem, and this is another disaster waiting to happen. Someone should tap on his back, and get a hold of this situation before it will turn from stupid to ugly.
Yellow Magic Food
We all know the health benefits of the long yellow things we like to call “Bananas”. Guess this employee of the month missed the Sesame Street episode where they teach the names of different fruits and vegetables. Wonder how is he or she going to label the eggplants and the grapefruits? Probably long purple things and round shapes something.
Teacher Pet’s Status
We assume this was supposed to be a super thoughtful gift to warm the heart of a kind teacher. But guess he or she is just partly good at their job as this grammar mistake is hard to swallow. Unless this is a joke, in that case, it’s kind of funny.
